Outcomes of this course:
Learners will be able to differentiate between ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, and epidural hematoma.
 
Learners will be able to discuss at least three important aspects of the neuro patient assessment, differentiate an unconscious versus and conscious patient assessment, and discuss aspects of communication to providers and documentation considerations.
 
Learners will be able to verbalize essential aspects of receiving and giving nursing report on neuro patients.
